G\u00f6ktepe 8 Ocak 1996 tarihinde, \u00dcmraniye E tipi cezaevinde \u00f6ld\u00fcr\u00fclen tutuklular\u0131n cenazesini izlemek, haber yapmak i\u00e7in gitti\u011fi Alibeyk\u00f6y\u2019de, \u00f6nce engellendi, sonra da g\u00f6revi ba\u015f\u0131ndayken g\u00f6zalt\u0131na al\u0131nd\u0131 ve Ey\u00fcp\u2019te bir spor salonunda d\u00f6v\u00fclerek\u00f6ld\u00fcr\u00fcld\u00fc.<\/p>\n

Bu ne ilkti ne de son\u2026 Ger\u00e7ekleri en do\u011fru \u015fekilde halka ula\u015ft\u0131rmay\u0131 ama\u00e7 edinmi\u015f gazeteciler, ger\u00e7ekleri kendi \u00e7\u0131karlar\u0131 i\u00e7in \u00e7arp\u0131tan, saklayan ve do\u011frular\u0131n ortaya \u00e7\u0131kmas\u0131ndan korkan ki\u015filer taraf\u0131ndan y\u0131llard\u0131r bask\u0131ya u\u011fram\u0131\u015f, a\u00e7\u0131k hedef haline getirilmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n

Aradan ge\u00e7en zamana ra\u011fmen de\u011fi\u015fen bir \u015feyin olmamas\u0131 \u00fclkemiz ve demokrasi ad\u0131na utan\u00e7 sebebidir. Ancak mesle\u011fini her ge\u00e7en g\u00fcn daha kararl\u0131 bir \u015fekilde, bask\u0131lara boyun e\u011fmeden, ger\u00e7e\u011fin pe\u015finde ko\u015farak, demokrasi ve bas\u0131n \u00f6zg\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc i\u00e7in yapan biz gazeteciler bu yolda ya\u015famlar\u0131n\u0131 onurlu bir \u015fekilde feda etmi\u015f Metin G\u00f6ktepe, Abdi \u0130pek\u00e7i, U\u011fur Mumcu, Hrant Dink, Muammer Aksoy gibi pek \u00e7ok gazetecinin, ayd\u0131n\u0131n \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131nda m\u00fccadele etmeye devam ediyoruz.<\/p>\n
